1. Information We Collect

FYJC.in is designed to be accessible without requiring account creation. When using our search filters, location-based map discovery, or newsletter subscription, we collect minimal data:

• Location Data: Device geographic coordinates (only when you explicitly grant location permissions for Nearby search).
• Newsletter Subscriptions: Email addresses provided voluntarily for cutoff alerts.
• Technical Analytics: Anonymized browser type, device information, and page view metrics to optimize website speed.

2. How We Use Information

Any data collected is used solely to enhance institution search accuracy, deliver cutoff alerts, and provide location distance calculation between your position and schools or colleges. We do not sell or rent user data to third parties.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential local storage preferences (such as light/dark mode theme selection) and session cookies to store your filter criteria for a seamless user experience.
